The organising Committee created the inaugural 2024 Festival from scratch and despite the worst that Mother Nature could throw at us in the form of Storm Darragh, with tremendous community spirit the village was able to put on a memorable Christmas Festival.
Despite having to cancel mosts of the events on Saturday and Sunday, after a mammoth effort fundraising throughout the year and generous donations through our GoFund Me page the event still managed to raise funds for community projects - we donated £500 to the Dunster Memorial Hall and £50 to the Parish Magazine and put us on a firm financial footing going into the planning for this year's Festival.

In 2025, the Festival activities will be held on Friday 6th in the evening, and during the day on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th December. There’ll be a variety of entertainment designed for visitors of all ages including music, art and craft workshops, children's activities, lots of mediaeval-themed entertainment and trader special events. Charming at any time of the year, the village will be dressed for Christmas and will look stunning over the Festival weekend.
